The AHL-51S is an electromagnetic buzzer with built-in oscillator. Applying DC voltage generates a fixed tone at ~2.7kHz with ~85dB sound pressure. Self-driven design requires no external driving circuit.

A metal diaphragm is driven by an electromagnetic coil and oscillator IC. When DC power is applied, the internal oscillator drives the coil at the diaphragm resonant frequency, generating sound.
