The AZ2150-1A-12DEF is a general-purpose power relay from ZETTLER Electronics featuring a 1 Form A (SPST-NO) contact configuration rated for 12A at 250VAC. With a 12VDC coil consuming only 0.4W, this relay provides energy-efficient switching for a wide range of applications. The sealed flux-tight construction ensures reliable operation in PCB assembly processes and harsh environments. The 5kV dielectric strength between coil and contacts provides excellent isolation safety.

The relay operates by energizing a coil that creates a magnetic field, attracting an armature that mechanically closes the normally open (NO) contacts. When coil power is removed, a return spring opens the contacts. The sealed construction prevents flux and contamination ingress during wave soldering, while the AgSnO2 contact material provides reliable switching for resistive and inductive loads. The low 0.4W coil power minimizes thermal stress on the PCB.
