The CS1206JKNPOCBN221 is a YAGEO CS series surface mount multilayer ceramic chip capacitor (MLCC). It provides 220 pF capacitance at 1 kV DC rating with C0G (NP0) dielectric in a 1206 package. The flexible termination system provides improved resistance to thermal stress and increased mechanical performance with board flex endurance of 3mm or greater. It is specifically designed for high flexure stress circuit boards, switch power supplies, and telecom base station applications.

The capacitor consists of a rectangular block of ceramic dielectric in which interleaved metal electrodes are contained, providing high capacitance per unit volume. The inner electrodes are connected to two end terminations with a flexible termination layer between the ceramic body and the external NiSn plating. The C0G (NP0) dielectric provides a nearly flat capacitance-temperature characteristic with negligible capacitance change over the operating temperature range.
