The ERJP08J100V from Panasonic is a 10 MΩ, 1W anti-surge thick film chip resistor from the ERJP08 series in a 2010 (5025 metric) package. The anti-surge construction withstands transient voltage spikes per IEC 61000-4-5, making it suitable for high-voltage divider and bleeder applications. With ±5% tolerance, 1W power rating, and AEC-Q200 qualification, it provides reliable high-value resistance in automotive and industrial circuits operating from -55°C to +155°C.

The ERJP08 series uses Panasonic anti-surge thick film technology with a specially formulated resistive element and protective overcoat designed to absorb transient energy. The thick film paste is screen-printed on an alumina substrate and laser-trimmed to the target resistance. The overcoat provides environmental protection and enhances surge withstand capability. At 10MΩ, the resistor is used in high-impedance circuits such as voltage dividers for high-voltage measurement or bleeder paths for capacitor discharge.
