The ESR10EZPF3002 from Rohm is a 30 kOhm precision metal film through-hole resistor from the ESR10 series. The metal film technology provides +/-1% tolerance and +/-50 ppm/degC TCR for stable and accurate resistance in precision analog circuits. The resistor features low noise, low voltage coefficient, and excellent long-term stability. The flame-retardant coating ensures safety in power applications. With a 0.5 W power rating and 250 V maximum working voltage, it is suitable for a wide range of precision measurement and signal conditioning applications.

The ESR10 series uses a nichrome metal film resistive element deposited on a high-purity ceramic rod. The film is helically trimmed to achieve the target 30 kOhm resistance within +/-1% tolerance. The metal film provides inherently low noise and low voltage coefficient compared to carbon film alternatives. The ceramic substrate provides excellent thermal conductivity for power dissipation, while the flame-retardant coating protects the resistive element from environmental stress and provides electrical insulation.
