The HEF4071BT from Nexperia is a quad 2-input OR gate belonging to the HEF4000B CMOS logic family in a SOIC-14 package. The device provides four independent 2-input OR gates with fully buffered outputs for highest noise immunity and pattern insensitivity to output impedance variations. Operating from 3V to 15V supply, it is specified at 5V, 10V, and 15V parametric ratings. The CMOS architecture provides very low static power dissipation with 1uA maximum quiescent current. Input clamp diodes enable the use of current-limiting resistors to interface inputs to voltages in excess of VDD. All inputs and outputs are protected against electrostatic discharge effects exceeding 2000V HBM. The device complies with JEDEC standard JESD 13-B.

(4) Input Protection: Clamp diodes on each input limit the input voltage to one diode drop above VDD or below VSS, protecting the thin gate oxide from electrostatic discharge and over-voltage conditions. (5) Low Static Power: In steady state, no DC path exists between VDD and VSS, resulting in quiescent current below 1uA.
