Inverting input stage drives a bipolar totem-pole output stage capable of sourcing/sinking 6A peak. The low output impedance (2 ohm source, 2 ohm sink) enables fast gate charge/discharge. Under-voltage lockout prevents partial turn-on of external MOSFET. Input logic threshold is compatible with both TTL and CMOS levels.
