The MDS5601URH is a multi-output display PMIC from MediaTek that generates all required bias voltages (AVDD, AVEE, VGH, VGL) for TFT-LCD and AMOLED panels from a single 2.7V to 5.5V input. It integrates positive boost, negative inverter, buck converter, and LDOs with I2C-programmable output voltages and display sequencing control. The QFN-48 package suits smartphone, tablet, and automotive display applications.

The MDS5601 integrates multiple switching converter stages: (1) Boost converter generates positive bias (AVDD ~8.6V and VGH ~12V), (2) Inverting converter generates negative bias (AVEE ~-5.5V and VGL ~-6V), (3) Buck converter provides intermediate rail, (4) LDOs generate low-noise logic supplies. I2C interface allows dynamic voltage adjustment for display gamma correction and power mode switching. Display sequencing ensures proper power-up/down order to prevent LCD damage.
