The UE27AC54100 is a USB Type-C 24-pin right-angle surface-mount receptacle connector supporting USB 3.2 Gen 2 data rates up to 10 Gbps and USB Power Delivery up to 100W. The 24-pin symmetric contact arrangement enables reversible plug insertion, eliminating orientation frustration. The connector supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode for video output, Thunderbolt protocols, and USB PD 3.0 for intelligent power negotiation. With 10,000 mating cycles, the connector provides the durability expected in consumer and industrial applications. The right-angle SMT design positions the connector opening parallel to the PCB edge for thin-profile device integration.

The UE27AC54100 implements the USB Type-C receptacle as defined by the USB-IF USB Type-C Cable and Connector Specification. The 24-pin contact array is arranged symmetrically on the top and bottom of the receptacle cavity, with each side containing the same signal set in mirror image. This allows the plug to be inserted in either orientation. The CC1/CC2 (Configuration Channel) pins detect plug orientation, establish data routing, and negotiate USB Power Delivery contracts. The 4 high-speed differential pairs (TX1+/-, TX2+/-, RX1+/-, RX2+/-) support USB 3.2 Gen 2 10 Gbps or can be repurposed for DisplayPort Alternate Mode. The 4 VBUS and 4 GND pins support up to 5A for USB PD power delivery.
