The e-CAM137_CUMI1335_MOD from e-con Systems is an embedded camera module featuring the ON Semiconductor AR0135 1/3-inch 1.2MP global shutter CMOS image sensor with 2-lane MIPI CSI-2 output interface. The module includes an M12 (S-mount) lens holder for interchangeable optics and fits in a compact 29x29mm form factor. With up to 45fps at full 1280×960 resolution, it targets machine vision, robotics, and embedded AI applications.

The AR0135 CMOS sensor uses a global shutter architecture where all pixels begin and end exposure simultaneously, eliminating rolling shutter artifacts. Photons are converted to charge by pinned photodiodes, transferred to floating diffusion for correlated double sampling (CDS), then digitized by a column-parallel ADC. The MIPI CSI-2 transmitter serializes pixel data onto 2 differential lanes for direct connection to an application processor or SoC.
