The 0603USB-222MLC from Laird is an integrated EMI filter in 0603 package combining a common-mode choke and 2200pF ESD capacitors. Designed for USB 2.0 high-speed differential pairs, it provides both EMI suppression and ESD protection in a single component.

The device integrates a common-mode choke (CMC) that presents high impedance to common-mode noise while passing differential signals with minimal attenuation. The 2200pF capacitors from each line to ground divert ESD transients away from the protected IC. The 0603 footprint allows placement directly at the USB connector for maximum effectiveness.
