The 150060RS75000 from ams-OSRAM is a super red 0603 ChipLED with 631nm dominant wavelength and 40 mcd at 20mA. The 1.95V forward voltage allows direct drive from 3.3V/5V supplies. Commonly used for error/fault indicators, power-on indicators, and warning signals in automotive and industrial applications.

AlGaInP LED die emitting at 631nm (red) on ceramic submount. The AlGaInP material system provides high-efficiency red emission. 1.95V forward voltage reflects the lower bandgap of AlGaInP vs InGaN (green/blue). Silicone lens provides 120 degree viewing angle.
