The 74AHC374D,118 from Nexperia is an octal edge-triggered D-type flip-flop with tri-state outputs in SOIC-20 package. 2V-5.5V AHC family for low-voltage logic. 8 flip-flops share a common clock (CLK) and output enable (OE). Data is captured on the rising edge of CLK. Tri-state outputs enable bus sharing when OE is high. For data registers, address latches, and pipeline stages in digital systems.

Eight D-type flip-flops share a common clock input. On the rising edge of CLK, each D input is captured into its respective flip-flop. The tri-state output buffer is controlled by OE: when OE is low, the outputs drive the captured data; when OE is high, the outputs are high-impedance, allowing other devices to drive the shared bus. This architecture is ideal for output port registers on microprocessor buses.
