The EPCOS/TDK B32923H3225M000 is an X2 safety-rated EMI suppression film capacitor from the B32923H series with AEC-Q200 automotive qualification. With 2.2 uF capacitance, a 305 VAC rating, and self-healing metallized polypropylene construction, this capacitor provides effective across-the-line EMI filtering in automotive and industrial AC mains applications. The AEC-Q200 certification ensures reliability under the harsh environmental conditions encountered in automotive on-board chargers and EV charging stations.

The B32923H3225M000 uses metallized polypropylene film with self-healing capability. During normal operation, the capacitor provides a low-impedance path for high-frequency EMI while blocking the 50/60 Hz mains voltage. If a voltage transient causes localized dielectric breakdown, the thin metallization around the fault point evaporates, isolating the defect and restoring function. The X2 safety classification per IEC 60384-14 ensures the capacitor fails safely in across-the-line applications. The AEC-Q200 qualification means the device has passed rigorous automotive-grade environmental and reliability testing.
