The C0805C223F3GACTU operates as a multilayer ceramic capacitor where alternating layers of ceramic dielectric (C0G/NP0 formulation based on titanium dioxide/neodymium oxide) and nickel inner electrodes are co-fired into a monolithic structure. C0G/NP0 dielectric is a Class I paraelectric material with linear capacitance vs voltage and temperature characteristics, exhibiting no ferroelectric behavior and thus no voltage coefficient, no piezoelectric microphonics, and no aging effects.
