The DS2003TM/NOPB from Maxim is a 7-channel Darlington transistor array, pin-compatible with ULN2003, capable of 500 mA per channel at 50V with built-in clamp diodes. The /NOPB suffix indicates the lead-free (Pb-free) grade.

Principio de funcionamiento

Seven Darlington pairs provide >1000 current gain each. Input logic drives the base through a 2.7 kOhm series resistor. Built-in clamp diodes from each collector to the COM pin absorb inductive kickback when driving relays or stepper motors. The COM pin is connected to the positive supply through external flyback path.
