Principio de funcionamiento

The DS3502 uses a resistor ladder with 256 taps connected to an analog multiplexer. The 8-bit I2C register selects which tap connects to the wiper output. On power-up, the EEPROM-stored wiper value is automatically loaded. Write mode updates the wiper position immediately; EEPROM write stores the value for next power-up. The device can be configured as a 3-terminal potentiometer (H, L, W) or 2-terminal rheostat (H, W). The I2C address is configurable via the A0 pin.
