Principio de funcionamiento
The APEX 20K architecture combines look-up table (LUT) logic with embedded system blocks (ESBs) that implement memory (CAM, FIFO, dual-port RAM) and product-term logic. The MegaLAB structure contains 16 LABs and 1 ESB connected by a local interconnect. FastTrack interconnect routes signals between MegaLABs horizontally and vertically. ESBs can implement 2Kx1 dual-port RAM, 1Kx2 single-port RAM, or 16×16-bit CAM. Two PLLs provide clock multiplication/division and phase shifting.
