The LT3756IUD is a high-voltage, high-side current sensing DC/DC controller specifically designed to drive high-current LEDs. It operates from an input voltage range of 6 V to 100 V and can produce output voltages up to 100 V. The controller supports multiple power topologies including Boost, Buck Mode, Buck-Boost Mode, SEPIC, and Flyback. It features 3000:1 True Color PWM dimming for accurate LED color control and analog dimming via the CTRL pin. The device is AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications.

The LT3756IUD uses a current mode control architecture with a high-side current sense resistor (100 mV threshold) to regulate LED current accurately. An internal MOSFET driver drives an external N-channel MOSFET. The switching frequency is programmable via an external resistor from 100 kHz to 1 MHz. PWM dimming is achieved through an external PWM MOSFET switch in series with the LED string, providing up to 3000:1 dimming ratio without color shift. The INTVCC internal 7.15 V regulator powers the gate driver.
