The MASWSS0151TR-3000 from MACOM is an SP4T (single-pole four-throw) RF switch covering 0.1 to 3 GHz with 0.4 dB insertion loss and +33 dBm P1dB. It is designed for 4G/5G cellular front-end antenna switching in multiband handsets and infrastructure.

Principio de funcionamiento

GaAs pHEMT switch elements are controlled by CMOS-compatible logic inputs. Four throw paths connect the common RF port to one of four antenna/filter paths. Low-resistance pHEMT FETs in the ON path minimize insertion loss, while OFF-path FETs provide high isolation. Harmonic performance is ensured by symmetric switch topology.
