Principio de funcionamiento

Three driver channels convert CMOS/TTL logic to ±5.4V RS-232 levels using internal charge pump. Five receiver channels convert RS-232 levels back to CMOS/TTL. Auto-powerdown circuit monitors all receiver inputs; when no valid RS-232 signal is detected on any receiver, the device enters 1 µA shutdown. FORCEON input overrides auto-powerdown for immediate wake-up.
