The MR0A16ACYS35 from Everspin Technologies is a 1Mbit parallel MRAM organized as 64Kx16. MRAM uses magnetic polarization for non-volatile storage with unlimited endurance and 35ns access time. It drops into standard SRAM sockets, adding instant non-volatility without batteries or capacitors.

MRAM stores data using magnetic polarization of tunnel junctions rather than electric charge. When current passes through the write lines, the magnetic field flips the polarization of the free layer, representing 0 or 1. This state is retained without power. Read operations sense the resistance difference between parallel and anti-parallel magnetic states.
