The NCV8170BXV330T2G from onsemi is an AEC-Q100 Grade 1 automotive LDO with 3.3V fixed output in an ultra-compact 1.0×1.0mm XDFN-4 package. 300mA output with 180mV dropout at full load. Ultra-low 3.5uA quiescent current and 68 dB PSRR at 1kHz provide clean power for noise-sensitive ADAS sensors and RF modules. Auto-discharge feature ensures rapid output discharge when disabled.

CMOS PMOS pass transistor regulated by error amplifier comparing scaled VOUT with bandgap reference. The 3.5uA quiescent current is achieved by optimized internal bias circuit. The 1.0×1.0mm XDFN-4 is among the smallest LDO packages available, enabled by the 4-pin configuration (VIN, VOUT, GND, EN). Auto-discharge uses an internal NMOS to discharge the output capacitor when EN is low.
