The SN74LV14APWR from TI is a hex Schmitt-trigger inverter in TSSOP-14 package. 1.65V-5.5V LV-A family operation for 1.8V, 2.5V, and 3.3V systems. 5.5V input overvoltage tolerance allows interfacing from higher-voltage domains without level translators. Schmitt-trigger hysteresis provides noise immunity on slow and noisy signals. -40 to 125C automotive temperature range.

Each inverter has Schmitt-trigger input with hysteresis. The LV-A variant has overvoltage-tolerant input structure: the input stage uses isolated N-well PMOS transistors that tolerate up to 5.5V regardless of VCC. This allows a 3.3V device to receive 5V inputs without damage or excessive current. Schmitt hysteresis prevents output chatter on slow edges, making the device ideal for crystal oscillators and switch debouncing in low-voltage systems.
