21 parallel CMOS inputs are internally serialized into 4 LVDS differential pairs using a 7:1 serialization ratio. A separate clock pair provides timing reference. LVDS signaling (350 mV swing, 100 ohm differential impedance) enables low-EMI, high-speed transmission over cable or PCB trace to a companion deserializer.
