The SY6280AAAC from Silergy is a current-limited power switch with adjustable current limit up to 2A and 85mOhm Rds(on). Designed for USB power management and hot-swap applications, it features reverse current blocking, thermal shutdown, and an open-drain fault flag in SOT-23-6.

The SY6280 integrates a P-channel MOSFET power switch with current sensing and limiting circuitry. The current limit is set by an external resistor connected to the ISET pin. When the load current exceeds the limit, the switch regulates the current and asserts the FAULT flag. Thermal shutdown protects the device during sustained overcurrent. Auto-restart attempts to restore power after the fault clears.
