The W25Q128JVSIQ is a 128Mbit (16MB) Serial NOR Flash Memory from Winbond with Standard/Dual/Quad SPI interfaces and 133 MHz clock rate. The JV series provides Fast Read Quad I/O with 6 dummy cycles for high-performance random access, making it ideal for XIP (Execute-in-Place) applications. The 8-pin SOIC-208 package is widely supported across microcontroller and FPGA platforms.

The W25Q128JV operates as a serial NOR Flash. Standard SPI: commands and data transfer via SI/SO. Dual SPI: data on SI and SO simultaneously (2x). Quad SPI: data on all four IO lines (4x bandwidth). QPI mode: all commands and data on 4 lines. Read: Issue read command + 24-bit address + dummy cycles → data out. Program: Write enable → page program (256 bytes max per operation). Erase: Sector (4KB), block (32/64KB), or chip erase. Hold# suspends operation; WP# protects status register bits.
