The 503960-0696 from Molex is a Micro SIM card connector with push-push mechanism for easy card insertion and ejection. It features 6 signal contacts plus 2 switch contacts for card detection in an 8-position right-angle surface-mount package. Gold-plated copper alloy contacts ensure 2000 mating cycle reliability. Ultra-low 1.42mm profile suits slim mobile device designs.

The push-push mechanism uses a spring-loaded slider that locks the SIM card in place when fully inserted. A second push releases the card for ejection via the spring mechanism. The 6 signal contacts connect to the SIM card C1-C6 pads (VCC, RST, CLK, DIO, GND, VPP). Two additional switch contacts detect card insertion to notify the host system. Gold plating (0.51um over nickel) ensures low contact resistance and corrosion resistance.
