工作原理

Each of the four PHY cores implements the full IEEE 802.3 1000BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, and 10BASE-T physical layers. The PMA (Physical Medium Attachment) sublayer performs PAM-5 encoding/decoding for 1000BASE-T and MLT-3 for 100BASE-TX. The DSP-based equalizer cancels echo and near-end crosstalk (NEXT) from the bi-directional transmission on all four pairs. Auto-negotiation advertises and detects link partner capabilities. EEE reduces power during low-traffic periods by entering low-power idle (LPI) states.
