The PCT2075DP,118 from NXP is an I2C digital temperature sensor with ±1°C accuracy over -25°C to +100°C and 0.125°C resolution. It is a pin-compatible upgrade to the LM75 with improved resolution and programmable OS/OT hysteresis for thermostat control.

工作原理

A bandgap temperature sensor outputs a voltage proportional to absolute temperature. A 11-bit delta-sigma ADC digitizes this to 0.125°C resolution. The MSB (8 bits) can be read in a single byte for fast polling. Over-temperature shutdown (OS) output activates when temperature exceeds the programmed threshold, with configurable hysteresis for stable switching.
