The CC0805KKX7R0BB104 uses a X7R ceramic dielectric between interleaved inner electrodes to achieve its 100nF (0.1uF) capacitance in a 0805 (2012 Metric) form factor. X7R (Class II) dielectric provides a good balance of capacitance density and temperature stability, with ±15% capacitance change over the -55 to +125degC operating range. Some capacitance reduction occurs with applied DC voltage (DC bias effect), which should be considered in circuit design.
