The EMMC64G-TY29-5B102 from Kioxia is a 64GB eMMC 5.1 device using 3D BiCS FLASH TLC technology. With HS400 interface supporting up to 300MB/s read, it provides high-speed embedded storage in a 153-ball BGA package. The integrated controller handles ECC, wear leveling, and bad block management transparently.

eMMC integrates NAND flash memory with a controller in a single BGA package. The controller manages wear leveling, ECC, bad block replacement, and garbage collection transparently to the host. The eMMC 5.1 interface supports HS400 mode at 200MHz DDR (dual data rate), providing 400MB/s theoretical bandwidth. Command Queuing (CQ) improves random I/O performance. Boot partitions enable fast system startup without external boot devices.
