The Infineon IPD90R1K2P7S is a 900V CoolMOS P7 superjunction MOSFET in DPAK package with 1.2Ohm RDS(ON) and 3.3A current rating. The 900V rating provides extra voltage margin for high-voltage PFC and telecom rectifier applications where 600V devices may be insufficient. The P7 technology delivers best-in-class RDS(ON) and switching losses at this voltage class.

The IPD90R1K2P7S uses Infineon’s CoolMOS P7 superjunction technology with alternating N and P columns in the drift region. The 900V blocking capability requires a thicker drift region than 600V devices, but the superjunction structure still provides significantly lower on-resistance than conventional planar MOSFETs at this voltage class. The DPAK package provides a good balance between thermal performance and PCB area for medium-power applications.
