The KCIMH020P1TG from NXP is a bidirectional TVS diode in SOD-323 package. 20V working voltage for 20V and 24V industrial rail protection. Bidirectional operation clamps both positive and negative transients. 150W peak pulse power for IEC 61000-4-5 surge protection. Breakdown at 22.2-24.5V, clamping at 31.3V/1A. For industrial I/O, automotive 12V bus, and power supply transient protection.

Two back-to-back Zener diodes in a single package provide bidirectional clamping. Below the working voltage (20V), the TVS is insulating (just capacitance ~120pF). Above the breakdown voltage (22.2V), the Zener avalanches and clamps the transient. The clamping voltage (31.3V at 1A) is the maximum voltage the protected circuit sees during a surge event. The 150W peak pulse power rating determines the maximum surge energy the TVS can absorb without damage.
