The LWW5SM-JYKY-8K-0-350 from ams-OSRAM is a mid-power warm white (3500K) LED in a 5050 PLCC2 surface-mount package with three LED chips connected in series. The series connection provides ~5.8V forward voltage at 120mA, simplifying driver design for 12V and 24V systems. With 45 lumens at 120mA and CRI 80, it delivers good quality warm white light for indoor ambient and general illumination applications.

The LWW5SM uses three blue InGaN LED chips with individual Ce:YAG phosphor coatings, connected in series within a single 5050 PLCC2 package. The series connection means all three chips share the same current, ensuring uniform brightness and color temperature. The combined phosphor-converted white light from three chips provides 45lm total output. The PLCC2 package with lead-frame provides adequate thermal management for mid-power operation up to 200mA.
