The SG731JTTD330K from YAGEO is an NTC inrush current limiting thermistor with 33 ohm zero-power resistance at 25C. At startup the 33 ohm resistance limits inrush current. Self-heating reduces resistance during operation, minimizing steady-state power loss. UL and TUV safety approvals for power supply applications.

Made from sintered metal oxide ceramic whose resistance decreases exponentially with temperature. At 25C resistance is 33 ohm, limiting inrush current. Steady-state current causes I2R self-heating, reducing resistance to 0.5-2 ohm at Imax for minimal power loss. Cools and recovers when power is removed.
