With 10µH inductance and 7.5A current rating, it leverages metal composite core wirewound technology to deliver exceptional saturation characteristics and low 27mΩ DC resistance. The shielded molded construction contains magnetic flux within the component, minimizing EMI coupling to nearby circuits. The compact 4339 case size (11.0 x 10.0 x 3.8mm) provides high power density for server, automotive, and industrial applications. Operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C ensures reliable performance in harsh environments.

1. Metal Composite Core: Unlike traditional ferrite cores, the metal composite core is made from compressed metal powder particles bonded with insulation. This provides a distributed air gap that enables high saturation flux density, allowing the inductor to maintain inductance at high DC bias currents.
2. Shielded Construction: The wirewound coil is fully encapsulated in the metal composite material, which acts as both the magnetic core and the shield. This contains the magnetic flux within the component body, dramatically reducing radiated EMI compared to unshielded inductors.
3. Energy Storage: The 10µH inductance stores energy in the magnetic field during the switch-on phase of a DC-DC converter and releases it during the switch-off phase. The 7.5A current rating ensures the inductor can handle the peak current without saturation.
