The SIM800C-MICROTRONICS-SMM is a Microtronics-customized SIMCom SIM800C quad-band GSM/GPRS module. It supports 850/900/1800/1900MHz with GPRS class 12 multi-slot operation up to 85.6kbps. The module integrates TCP/IP stack, SIM card interface, and AT command parser. The Microtronics SMM variant includes custom antenna connector and SIM socket configuration for rapid IoT deployment.

The SIM800C contains a baseband processor, RF transceiver, and power management in a single module. The GSM modem implements the 3GPP TS 27.007 AT command set for control. For data transmission, the GPRS protocol stack establishes PDP context with the network, then TCP/UDP packets are sent via the integrated IP stack. RF output power is +2W (Class 4) at 850/900MHz and +1W (Class 1) at 1800/1900MHz.
