The TL751L12CDR from TI is a 150mA LDO voltage regulator with 12V fixed output and enable control. With 60V load-dump and -50V reverse transient protection, it is designed for harsh automotive and industrial environments. The SOIC-8 (DR suffix) package supports 2.5kpcs tape and reel.

The TL751L uses a PNP pass transistor for low dropout voltage. The enable input (TTL/CMOS compatible) places the output in high-impedance when driven high, drawing less than 500uA. The 60V load-dump protection handles automotive transients, while the -50V reverse protection guards against reverse battery installation. Thermal shutdown and over-current limiting provide comprehensive protection.
