The IR2113STRPBF is an EiceDRIVER™ 600V high-side and low-side gate driver IC from Infineon Technologies, designed for driving IGBTs and MOSFETs in high-voltage power conversion applications. With typical 2.5A source and 2.5A sink current capability in a 16-lead SOICWB package, this driver delivers robust gate drive performance for medium to high power systems. The IR2113S features independent high-side and low-side channels with matched propagation delays (20ns max mismatch), enabling precise timing control in high-frequency applications. The shutdown pin provides cycle-by-cycle edge-triggered protection. The floating channel supports bootstrap operation up to 600V, with tolerance to negative transients and high dV/dt conditions.

The IR2113STRPBF uses high-voltage level-shift technology built on Infineon’s proprietary HVIC and latch-immune CMOS process. The HIN and LIN logic inputs independently control the high-side (HO) and low-side (LO) gate drive outputs respectively. A separate shutdown (SD) input can force both outputs low, providing system-level protection with edge-triggered cycle-by-cycle operation. The high-side driver is powered by a bootstrap capacitor between VB and VS, with undervoltage lockout (UVLO) monitoring both the high-side bootstrap supply and the low-side VCC supply. Separate VDD/VSS logic supply pins allow the input interface to operate at different voltage levels from the power stage, with up to ±5V offset between logic ground and power ground.
