Product Overview
The SI8261BCC-C-IS is an isolated gate driver from Skyworks Solutions (formerly Silicon Labs) that provides a pin-compatible, drop-in replacement for popular opto-coupled gate drivers. Based on proprietary silicon isolation technology, it supports up to 5.0 kVRMS withstand voltage per UL1577 and 10kV surge protection per VDE 0884-10. The ‘B’ variant provides 4A peak output drive current, the ‘C’ variant has 12V UVLO, and the device is packaged in SOIC-8. It offers superior performance compared to opto-coupled drivers including tighter part-to-part matching, better CMTI, and improved reliability over temperature and time.
