Product Overview
The TLP240ATP1F is the surface-mount tape-and-reel variant of Toshiba’s TLP240A single-channel MOSFET-output photorelay. Featuring TP1 gull-wing lead forming for surface-mount assembly and supplied in 1500-piece tape-and-reel packaging, it is optimized for high-volume automated SMT production. The device offers 60 V off-state voltage, 0.5 A on-state current, and a low 2 ohm maximum on-resistance with just 3 mA trigger LED current. It provides 5000 Vrms reinforced isolation between the input LED and output MOSFET, certified to UL 1577, cUL (CSA), VDE (EN 60747-5-5), and CQC (GB 4943.1-2022) standards. RoHS compliant and halogen-free, the TLP240ATP1F delivers all the benefits of the TLP240A photorelay including long operational life, no contact bounce, and bidirectional switching capability in a surface-mountable format ideal for modern PCB designs in industrial automation, security systems, measurement instrumentation, and smart metering applications.
