The Molex 445600001 is a dual-port unshielded RJ45 modular jack from the 44560 series, designed for high-speed data networking in telecommunications, industrial, and consumer applications. This Cat5e-rated connector features 16 gold-plated phosphor bronze contacts (8p8c per port) in a right-angle through-hole configuration. The push-fit board lock mechanism enables secure PCB installation, while the glass-filled polyamide housing provides durability and flame retardancy.

The 445600001 RJ45 jack uses IDC (Insulation Displacement Contact) style internal contacts that mate with the standard RJ45 plug’s gold contacts through a spring-loaded beam interface. Each port provides 8 signal contacts for differential pair transmission per IEEE 802.3 Ethernet standards. The Cat5e rating ensures the connector geometry maintains controlled impedance and crosstalk performance up to 100 MHz. The gold-over-nickel contact plating provides low contact resistance and excellent wear resistance for up to 500 mating cycles.
