The Microchip AT25256B-SSHL-B is a 256Kb SPI Serial EEPROM organized as 32K x 8, housed in an 8-pin SOIC (150 mil) package. Operating from 1.8V to 5.5V with a 20MHz maximum clock frequency, it supports SPI modes 0 and 3. The device features block write protection (1/4, 1/2, or entire array), hardware write protect and HOLD pins, self-timed write cycles (5ms max), 1 million erase/write cycle endurance, and 100-year data retention. It is available in both industrial (-40°C to +85°C) and automotive grade (-40°C to +125°C) versions.
