The CC0805KFX7R8BB105 from Yageo is a CC series multilayer ceramic chip capacitor (MLCC) in 0805 (2012 metric) package with 1µF capacitance, ±10% tolerance, and 25V voltage rating. The X7R dielectric provides stable capacitance over the operating temperature range. Constructed with alternating layers of ceramic dielectric and metal electrodes, this capacitor achieves high capacitance per unit volume. The Ni-Barrier termination provides excellent solderability and resistance to leaching. Automotive Grade (Flex-Safe) qualification ensures reliability in demanding applications.

The CC0805KFX7R8BB105 MLCC stores electrical energy in the electric field between alternating layers of ceramic dielectric and metal electrodes. When a voltage is applied, charge accumulates on the electrodes, creating an electric field in the X7R ceramic dielectric. The 1µF capacitance value determines the amount of charge stored per volt applied. The X7R dielectric (Class II) provides a balance of capacitance stability and volumetric efficiency, with capacitance change limited to ±15% over the -55°C to +125°C temperature range.
