The Panasonic ERA-6AED620V is a 62 ohm high-reliability thin film chip resistor from the ERA-6A series in a 0805 (2012 metric) package. With plus/minus 0.5% tolerance and plus/minus 25 ppm/C temperature coefficient, it provides precise resistance for critical analog and digital circuits. The 0805 package offers 0.125W power rating and 150V maximum working voltage, making it suitable for higher power applications than 0402 alternatives. The thin film element (NiCr or TaN) delivers low noise, excellent linearity, and long-term stability. AEC-Q200 qualified for automotive use, the resistor is stable at 85C/85%RH under rated load conditions.

The ERA-6AED620V uses a vacuum-sputtered thin film resistive element (nichrome or tantalum nitride) on an alumina substrate. The 62 ohm resistance is achieved by patterning the film geometry and laser-trimming to plus/minus 0.5% accuracy. The thin film technology provides lower current noise than thick film alternatives and superior long-term stability. The plus/minus 25 ppm/C TCR is determined by the NiCr alloy composition. The 0805 package size provides a larger substrate area than 0402, enabling 0.125W power dissipation and 150V working voltage. The three-layer electrode (inner Ag-Pd, Ni barrier, Sn plating) ensures reliable solder joints and prevents silver migration.
