The HF118F/012-1ZS1G from Hongfa is a miniature high power relay with 12VDC coil voltage, 1 Form C contact arrangement, and 10A contact switching capability. Its ultra-low 12.5mm profile makes it ideal for space-constrained applications. The 5kV dielectric strength and >8mm creepage distance meet VDE 0700/0631 reinforced insulation requirements, making it suitable for household appliance safety applications. Gold-plated AgNi contacts ensure reliable switching at both low and rated load levels. The 220-290mW low coil power reduces thermal dissipation in dense PCB layouts.

The HF118F/012-1ZS1G operates as a single-pole double-throw (SPDT) electromechanical relay. When 12VDC is applied to the coil, the electromagnetic force attracts the armature, transferring the common contact from the normally closed (NC) position to the normally open (NO) position. When coil voltage is removed, the return spring restores the contact to the NC position. The gold-plated AgNi contact material provides reliable switching from low signal levels up to the full 10A rated load. The >8mm creepage distance and 5kV dielectric strength ensure safe isolation between the control circuit and the load circuit.
