The IAUC120N06S5N017ATMA1 from Infineon is a 60 V N-channel enhancement-mode power MOSFET built on the OptiMOS™ 5 technology platform. It offers an extremely low RDS(on) of 1.7 mΩ maximum at VGS=10V with a continuous drain current rating of 120 A. The device is AEC-Q101 qualified for automotive applications and supports operation up to 175°C junction temperature. The PG-TDSON-8 (SSO8) 5x6mm package provides excellent thermal performance with a junction-to-case thermal resistance of 0.9 K/W.

The IAUC120N06S5N017 uses Infineon OptiMOS™ 5 trench technology to achieve very low on-resistance through optimized cell density and trench geometry. The N-channel enhancement mode device conducts when the gate-source voltage exceeds the threshold (2.8 V typical). At VGS=10V, the MOSFET is fully enhanced with RDS(on) of 1.3 mΩ typical. The low gate charge (73.7 nC) enables efficient high-frequency switching. The integrated reverse body diode provides freewheeling current path for bridge and motor drive topologies.
