The ISO1050DUB from TI integrates a CAN transceiver with 5000Vrms galvanic isolation in a single wide-body SOIC-16 package. Supporting CAN data rates up to 1Mbps per ISO 11898, it eliminates the need for separate optocouplers and CAN transceivers.

The ISO1050 combines TI digital isolator technology with a CAN transceiver. The digital isolator provides 5000Vrms isolation between the logic side (VCC1) and bus side (VCC2). The CAN transceiver on the bus side converts TTL logic levels to differential CAN bus signals (CANH, CANL). Dominant timeout prevents network lock-up from stuck dominant states.
