The LMZ20502SILR from TI is a 2A step-down DC-DC power module with integrated shielded inductor in a 4x4mm package. The module integrates the controller, power MOSFETs, and inductor, requiring only input/output capacitors and a feedback resistor. The 2MHz switching frequency enables compact designs.

The LMZ20502 uses a synchronous buck topology with integrated high-side and low-side MOSFETs. The 2MHz fixed-frequency PWM control provides predictable EMI behavior. The integrated shielded inductor eliminates the need for external inductor selection and layout. The power-good output indicates valid output voltage. Current mode control ensures stable operation across load and line conditions.
